Los Angeles

Depaul USA manages Casa Milagrosa Day Resource Center to provide support services and a warm, welcome refuge to those affected by homelessness in the Westlake Community located in Los Angeles, CA

In partnership with the Daughters of Charity in Los Angeles, CA, Casa Milagrosa is now open!

On any given day more than 66,000 men, women and children experience homelessness in Los Angeles County.  Depaul USA and the Daughters of Charity formed a working group to discern what could be done to address this daunting problem. The working group, comprised of Daughters of Charity, homeless service practitioners and representatives of Depaul USA as well as the local Vincentian family, has now opened a day center for a Daughters-owned building in Los Angeles’ Westlake neighborhood.

Casa Milagrosa is now open and provides the following services:

  • Case management
  • Hot breakfast and coffee
  • Food distribution events
  • Laundry access
  • Showers access
  • Access to phones
  • Access to computers and wifi
  • Identification and documentation
  • Referrals for medical, dental and vision
