In-Kind Donation List

On any given day more than 69,000 women, men and children experience homelessness in Los Angeles County.  Depaul USA and the Daughters of Charity formed a working group to discern what could be done to address this daunting problem. The working group, comprised of Daughters of Charity, homeless service practitioners and representatives of Depaul USA as well as the local Vincentian family, opened a day center in the Westlake neighborhood as the first project in Los Angeles.

Upcoming Projects in Los Angeles:

St. Vincent Parish: We are managing a working group at St. Vincent Parish conducting a needs assessment for the community. This group will determine what services are needed in the parish and work to provide those services.

The Dax Program: We plan to bring our Dax program to L.A. The Dax program addresses homelessness among transitional-aged youth by providing stable and safe housing. It provides college-aged students with various services that support a successful path toward continuing and completing their studies.
