Depaul USA is working to end college homelessness through the Dax Program. The Dax Program assists homeless and housing insecure students of DePaul University and City Colleges of Chicago.

Program Overview
The Dax Program began by matching homeless and housing insecure students with host families. Today, Depaul USA also operates two Dax Houses to address students’ immediate crises of homelessness by providing stable and safe housing. The Dax Program provides students with various services that support a successful path toward the continuation and completion of their studies. These include:
- Housing
- Case management
- Counseling referrals
- Transportation
- Food stipends
- Textbook assistance
- Educational reimbursements
Dax House Participation Requirements
- Be currently enrolled at a partner College or University
- Work a minimum of ten hours per week
- Pay $150 in monthly rent
- Adhere to the Dax House guidelines
