ROOTS provides interim housing and supportive services to women returning to society after incarceration at MDOC.
Program Overview
ROOTS: Re-entry, Opportunity, Overcoming, Transformation, Success
- Housing
- Pay first two months of probation fees
- Case management
- Food stipends
- Financial & life skills workshops
- Clothing assistance
- Employment aid
Program requirements
- Meet with case manager regularly as scheduled
- Work minimum of 20 hours per week
- Save 30% per pay period for future housing
