The services Depaul USA offers are more essential now than ever before. Thanks to the tremendous courage and dedication of our staff, Depaul USA’s programs are still open across the country. Our most vulnerable brothers and sisters always suffer most when there is a disaster. The current COVID-19 pandemic and accompanying economic meltdown are devastating to men and women experiencing homelessness.

- In Philadelphia, we launched the Dax Program at St. Joseph’s House in the midst of this crisis to provide housing for 24 homeless college students.
- The two Dax Houses in Chicago are full of DePaul University students even though the university is closed.
- Our day centers in Macon, GA and Little Rock, AR have modified their operations but are still serving scores of people each day. We control the number of people who can enter and how long they remain inside. They can still shower, have their clothes washed and recieve meals via to-go boxes.
- In St. Louis and New Orleans, case managers are visiting program participants in their homes and bringing them food baskets, cleaning supplies and other necessities. We are providing case management services in person and over the phone, if necessary.
